Back to KnockPort

Privacy

Your work stays on your machine.

What KnockPort sends, and what it never does. Verifiable behind a proxy.

What never leaves your machine

Requests, responses, collections, environments, history, and any tokens - none of it is uploaded or sent anywhere. No account. Works offline. Syncing a collection uses your git remote, not ours.

The only two things it sends

Both are about the app, never your work.

  1. 1

    Update check

Asks for the latest published version. Sends the current version and your OS - nothing else.

  2. 2

    Install count

Once per version, on install and update. Sends a random install id, the version, and your OS - never a person, never your requests. It tells us which versions are still in use, so we retire old ones safely.

What it never does

  • No analytics SDKs
  • No third-party trackers
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No per-launch phone-home
